This area has proper education and healthcare infrastructure. You will get a lot of schools here. Some rputed schools are Greenfields public School, Greenway Modern School, etc. The area has proper footpaths and zebra crossings near schools. Water and electricity supply are consistent.
Dilshad Garden has several medium-sized parks in each pocket. You can go there to seek some peaceful time or for morning walks. There are benches and walking tracks.

Dilshad Garden is an established area. The rent is fine and amenities are sufficient. metro is available within 2-3 km radius. So the connectivity is good. Vivek vihar and delhi shahadra junction are also very close.

Dilshad Garden is a well known area. I have been living here for 4 years now. It is quite safe especially if you live in apartment complexes with good security. I study law in SOL delhi university which is walkable from my apartment. The area is very student friendly too because of reputed colleges and affordable PGs and flats
The area has several blocks and each has a different appeal. Despite the congestion near Tahirpur Road and SH 57, people desire this area because of the infrastructure and connectivity. the metro lines are convenient and schools and colleges drive more families
I am living in the GTB Enclave and it's safe. there is a police station nearby and local markets make it vibrant. But the problem is the lack of street lighting in some inner lanes which makes it difficult to run errands late evening
Dilshad Garden enjoys strong public transport connectivity. There are metro stations on the Red Line at Dilshad Garden itself and at Jhilmil. DTC and cluster buses run frequently to East Delhi and central areas. Autos and rickshaws are easy to find.
