Bannerghatta Road is a long stretch of road. Infrastructure is top notch with multiple top hospitals like Apollo, Fortis, Rainbow located along the road. There are many international schools like Sherwood High, Ryan International. Public transport is excellent and upcoming Green line of metro will further enhance connectivity.

I own a flat in a gated society on Bannerghatta Road. I chose to buy a property here because this place offers the best of many things. Infrastructure, connectivity and accessibility to other parts of the town are great. Nice road is just 5 kms away, so easy to hit the highway when you want to get out of the city. When it comes to shopping it offers convenience of multiple malls in close vicinity. Traditional markets like Jayanagar, Gandhibazar are also within 3-7 kms radius from different parts of the city. For weekends or mid-week chill, there are many pubs, coffee shops, chef-run cafes to indulge in - just a stone's throw away. Can't wait for the pink line metro to get operational - which will connect areas on bannerghatta road to north and east Bangalore.

Pros of living here - Easy accessibility to all major amenities - gyms, restaurants & pubs, shops etc - Road condition is relatively better than most parts of Bangalore. - Metro connectivity will be a big boon once it starts (seems like almost done) Cons - Bannerghatta road gets too busy sometimes - If you live on the main road, check the level of traffic noise you can hear in your home.

I have been staying in Purva Panorama, Bannerghatta Road, for the last 5 years, and overall, it is a comfortable experience. What I loved about this locality is its connectivity. It goes straight to popular areas, like Jayanagar (30 minutes) or BTM Layout (24 minutes). My office is in Koramangala 1st Block (30 minutes), and my wife is a lecturer in Christ University, Bannerghatta (2.8 km). Commuting is easy for us as public transportation is easily accessible. You can get frequent BMTC buses through the area. We basically moved here since the rent was less than in Kormangala or HSR. Also, everything we need is nearby, including grocery stores, hospitals like Fortis Hospital (3.8 km), Apollo Hospital (4 km), and shopping malls like Royal Meenakshi Mall (2 km) and Vega City Mall (20 minutes). In fact, there are several medical shops, a temple like Meenakshi Temple (1.5 km), college like IIM BANGALORE (15 minutes), and top schools like AECS Magnolia Maaruti Public School (2.7 km) and ORCHIDS The International School (3.7 km). It's mostly a safe and developed neighbourhood, with several top builders ’ properties accessible, such as Prestige Elysian, Mantri Paradise, and Mahindra Windchimes. One of the tallest buildings in South India, Mantri Pinnacle, is there. But the biggest drawback is traffic. During peak hours or rain, it’s a nightmare. Even a 5 km stretch takes more than half an hour. It is mainly because of the metro work ongoing for the past few years. But once the Bannerghatta Road metro line becomes operational, connectivity will improve, and rental and property values here will go high. Overall, I will say, Bannerghatta Road is a great locality not just for tenants whose office is in this area, but also for buyers or investors.

good locality for living but the transportation is hard especially to business hubs like electronic city and sarjapur. traffic is also getting huge

The area has good apartment complexes at reasonable rental price. Some parts are very crowded and can feel congested. Parking on public areas is a trouble too

It's a developing area and has many good amenities a family will look for. Good malls and there are family restaurants too. the bannerghatta national park nearby is an added benefit too for weekend spots

We have a property here that I have rented out to students. The demand is mostly from college students looking for affordable rental options. The area is friendly and livable. Most tenants are only concerned by the traffic and transport problems

The road connectivity is solid here so the access to major IT hubs like electronic city is quick. The upcoming metro expansion will help widen the transport network and increase the resale value too. Even entry points are affordable
