The CIDCO housing scheme is a scheme that provides affordable housing to the Economically Weaker Section and Lower Income Group. So all the houses will be allocated to the 2021 draw. I would like to tell you about the upcoming projects by CIDCO in Navi Mumbai. I am looking forward to investing in the Navi Mumbai region, and thus, I researched about the upcoming developments planned by CIDCO. Starting with CIDCO upcoming projects in Kharghar, the Kharghar golf course is going to be raised to the international level, with a 50.35 crore project budget. I am sharing more information about the upcoming projects below.
What are the Upcoming CIDCO Projects in Navi Mumbai?
Navi Mumbai International Airport: This project is aimed at becoming one of the world’s largest greenfield airports. The project will accommodate 60 million passengers and 1.5 million tonnes of cargo yearly. This will ease the traffic on the Mumbai airport.
Water Transport, Nerul: The water transport in Nerul has been designed with the vision to reduce the time to travel between South Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and the Konkan region. We could see it starting this year.
Transit-Oriented Housing: This project is being planned to be launched under the PMAY scheme. The project will build residential spaces close to the railway stations and bus stops.
Bamandongri Railway Station: CIDCO is developing this 27-km project in the Nerul/Seawoods-Uran Rail Corridor. The project will comprise 10 railway stations.
Two Bridges by MSRDC: Two three-lane bridges near Vashi Creek are under construction by the MSRDC. This project will help reduce the traffic on the Sion-Panvel highway.
Kharghar Golf Course: As I said earlier, the golf course is being enhanced to match international standards and uplift India’s position in golf globally.
As far as CIDCO upcoming projects in Juinagar go, I do not have any concrete information about it at the moment.
