I’m looking to buy a MHADA flat in Mulund Area. The building has completed 5 years. What is the process for Mhada transfer and Mhada NOC? What documents should I look for from the owner?
To transfer a MHADA flat in Mulund area, you need to follow the below steps:
Obtain the deed of rectification format: You can obtain the deed of rectification format from a legal expert or online legal service provider such as NoBroker, our portal.
Fill out the deed of rectification: Fill out the deed of rectification with the correct information, including the new name to be used in the property document.
Notarize the deed: The deed of rectification must be notarized by a notary public.
Register the deed: Register the deed of rectification at the Sub-Registrar’s office where the original sale deed was registered.
In addition to the above, you will also need to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the MHADA for the transfer of the flat. The following documents are required for obtaining the NOC:
Application form: The application form for obtaining the NOC is available on the official website of the MHADA.
Sale deed: A copy of the sale deed of the flat.
Occupancy certificate: A copy of the occupancy certificate of the building.
