I think you can convert your land to agricultural land if the land is good for crop cultivation. First of all, you have to go with soil testing and find out the lack of nutrients. You can fulfil the demand for soil by using soil amendments.
Generally, the cost of non-agricultural land is more and it takes a while to convert agricultural land to non-agricultural land. However, in your case, it’s conversion to agricultural land, which should actually be quite easy.
You can always check with the planning authorities to confirm this before you proceed.
I have a plot in Hyderabad which comes under FTL. Can I convert it back to agricultural land? It is purchased 40 years back.
