Last year on Diwali I painted my house. But since I live near Britania Biscuit factory the room walls are all greasy and gloomy. How to Wash Walls Without Removing Paint?

  1. The first thing to do is to remove the dust off the wall surface. Use a dry microfiber cloth for this by wiping it down the walls starting from the top and finishing at the button. 
  2. Then, you must make a homemade cleaning solution by mixing 1-2 drops of dish soap in 1 cup of warm water.
  3. Apply this cleaning solution on the wall and gently scrub the surface with a soft microfibre cloth. 
  4. You can finish by rinsing the wall with fresh water and patting it dry with a clean cloth. 
This technique works on all wall types. But, if you have a matte or eggshell wall paint, be pretty gentle when you scrub. 

How to Remove Wall Stains Without Removing Paint from Flat Surfaces?

  1. Take a soft sponge or a soft cloth and dip it in the cleaning solution you made with water and dish soap. 
  2. Wring it well to remove excess water and wipe the walls, going from top to bottom. 
  3. Dip the sponge or cloth again into the solution and wring it. 
  4. Scrub the surface gently, because too much pressure can remove paint. 
  5. Do this till you’ve gotten rid of the dirt and dust. 
  6. Take a dry microfiber cloth and wipe it to dry the wall completely.
