Last month, I bought a Lord Ganesha idol and was planning to keep it in the bedroom. I shared this with my cousin and asked him can we keep Ganesh idol in bedroom. He is a Vastu expert and strongly suggested me not to keep the idol there. He then provided me with a few key details about the placement of Ganesha idol. 

Where to Keep Ganesh Idol at Home?

• He told me to keep the Ganesha idol in the north or east direction of my house. According to him, this invites positive energy and prosperity into the house.

• He also said that placing the idol near the entrance of your home is considered auspicious. This blesses your household and guests with good luck and protection.

• Apart from the bedroom, he highlighted not to keep a Ganesh idol in the bathroom or a Ganesh picture on a wall that is attached to a bathroom. 

• He also suggested that I keep the area of the idol clean and well-maintained.

  : A yellow or gold ganesha idol represents knowledge, wisdom and happiness.
