The idea of Griha Pravesh is to enter a new home on an auspicious day. Usually, people do a Griha Pravesh Puja while entering a home that they have purchased. I relocated to Bangalore in May 2023, and took an apartment for rent. My mother told me that it is necessary for me to select a good day for rented house shifting. 

I asked her,

What is the significance of a good day for home shifting?

She told me that our future happiness and prosperity can be significantly impacted by the day we decide to move to a new house. Hindu astrology holds that some days are regarded to be more favourable for moving houses than others. 

So I asked her, what is the good day for house shifting in this month, that is in June 2023. She consulted our Vastu expert and informed me that on June 12th, 2023, I can enter the house from 10:34 am – June 13th, 05:23 am.

Accordingly, I shifted on that day. However, one of my friends, Ashish was planning to relocate to Bangalore in the month of November, so my mother provided a few dates which are considered the best day to enter new rented house;
