After getting our new house completed, we wanted to shift there ASAP. I was not sure whether can we shift house in Margazhi month or not. So, I asked Panditji to help me out. He mentioned that one can shift houses in the Margazhi month but that should be done at the right time or muhurat. 

Which is the Best Month to Shift House?

There are some factors you can consider to determine the best month for house shifting yourself. 

Weather conditions: 

Try to shift into your new house in months with moderate temperatures and minimal precipitation. That is how you can enjoy a smoother moving experience and protect your belongings from potential damage.

Season: 

I would personally suggest you avoid shifting houses in the rainy season. It can become very difficult to move your things in heavy rain and might overall delay the shifting process. 

Personal schedules: 

Coordinate with your work and personal commitments to find a time that allows for minimal disruption and stress during the moving process.

School calendars: 

If you have children, consider their school schedules to minimise academic interruptions and ease their transition to a new environment.

Financial considerations: 

Do not forget to consider your budget and choose a month that matches your financial goals and constraints.

I was planning to move to a rented apartment in Pune this year with my Tamil PG friend. I remember her mom being very particular with Vastu principles and informing us about the rent house shifting good days 2023. 

Let me share the good Tamil months for house shifting.

Her mom informed us about the below-given 4 months,

• VAIKASI (mid-May to mid-June)

• AVANI (mid-August to mid-September)

• KARTHIGAI (mid-November to mid-December)

• MASI (mid-February to mid-March)

After learning about the best Tamil month for house warming, she also warned us of the worst months to shift a house are as follows;

• ANI (mid-June to mid-July)

• PURATTASI (mid-September to mid-October)

• MARGAZHI (mid-December to mid-January)

• PANGUNI (mid-March to mid-April)

So after knowing all these we also researched online about the rent house shifting good days 2023 and got the following dates;

• November 17

• November 22

• November 23

• November 27

• November 29

• December 8

• December 15

• December 21

Hence, we are planning to shift during the KARTHIGAI month (mid-November to mid-December).

But please keep in mind, Aani month is related to Jyeshtha and is believed to be unlucky or alakhsmi in mythology hence do not shift house in this month at any cost. 

 

Can you perform house warming in Karthigai month?

Of course, you can. In fact, Karthigai and Margazhi are considered to be the best months to shift house.  So house warming in Margazhi month or Karthigai is going to be greatly auspicious for you.
