Hey Buddy, As far as I know, you have to pass your school from the State of Maharashtra if you are wondering who is eligible for Maharashtra domicile. Also if you are thinking can I have domicile of two states I am sorry to break down the sad news but no. You cannot have a domicile certificate of two states. Let me share with you the eligibility criteria for domicile certificate in Maharashtra: A person living in the State of Maharashtra for last 15 years can obtain the domicile certificate. Documents required for Domicile Certificate:
  • Age of proof such as birth certificate, school certificate, etc.
  • Address proof such as ration card or driving license
  • Residential Proof
  • Self-Declaration Form
  • 2 Photo of Voter ID or College or University ID
  • Filled up application Form
  • Identity Proof
  • Photocopies of the required documents duly attested by a government official
  • An affidavit from tehsil or court
