You might feel like you have to submit tons of documents while applying for a home loan and most of the people feel the same way as you do. However, it is not very difficult to submit the application if you have the basic documents ready. So here is the list of documents required for taking a home loan from the bank:
1. Application Form - Signed Application form with photo
2. Identity Proof such as PAN card or Passport
3. Address Proof - Any residence proof like passport, voter card, driving license, bank statement or passbook, landline bill, etc.
4. Income Proof - Salary slip, bank statement of 6 months, Form 16
5. Property Documents such as Registered Sale Deed, Past Sale Deeds, House Tax Receipt (Latest)
6. In case of a co-borrower, you will have to submit documents such as identity proof, income proof and address proof
Apart from these, the bank might ask you for some other documents which can vary from bank to bank.
