Is it Cheaper to Move on a Weekday?

While trying to move from Mumbai to Bangalore, I came to learn that it's cheaper to move on weekdays. To confirm this, I called a friend of mine and asked him is it cheaper to move on a weekday. He told me that it is cheaper and besides that, he also told me a few benefits of moving on a weekday. 

Is it Cheaper to Hire Movers During the Week?

Here are the benefits that my friend told me about moving during weekdays. 

He said that the main benefit of moving during the week is the price. He told me that moving is quite expensive and the service providers charge around 20% more on weekends compared to weekdays. This is because they are already booked by many people who will be relocating.

According to him, I can save quite a lot of money by moving on a weekday and that money can be used for other expenses. This money can be used to purchase other packing supplies. 

According to him, most packers and movers service providers are busy on weekends. And that is why reputable movers such as NoBroker Packers and Movers are comparatively less busy on weekdays. So, if I schedule a move between Monday to Thursday, I will have access to many reputable packers and movers companies at cheaper prices.
