It is up to you to decide where you want to live. Some prefer ground-floor apartments since they are easily accessible and some want top-floor apartments since the view from there is heavenly. I myself could not decide which floor is best in high rise building. After discussing this with my close ones, I ultimately decided to opt for the ground floor. The ground floor is the best floor to choose in a high rise building. Here are the reasons why

• The apartments on the ground floor are easily accessible. In case of any emergency, you can escape first

• If you have old parents or children, just choose the ground floor. They can move freely there and do not have to use a lift or stairs

• You can move goods more easily in the ground floor apartments than in the higher floor apartments

• Ground floor apartments command greater rental returns so just choose them

• As per Vastu Shastra, the best floor to live in a high rise building is the ground floor. The more a house remains connected to the ground the more the family is to prosper. You can choose the ground-floor, first-floor or second-floor apartments as per Vastu Shastras.

To me as well, the best floor in high rise building is the ground floor. However if you want more privacy, a good scenic view, proper ventilation and more, opt for the higher-floor apartments.
