How to buy MHADA property?

There are two ways to buy a MHADA flat. You can buy a MHADA flat as the lottery is announced. You will have to fill the MHADA application form, submit registration fee, documents, etc. and wait for the shortlist to have your name for further process.

Or if you are wondering can we buy MHADA flat in resale then yes you can. You can look for MHADA flats for sale online and offline. 

Recently, my driver asked me how to get MHADA house. I researched it online and found that one can buy an MHADA flat directly by filling out an application form from the official website. I have shared the detailed process below for your reference.

How to Buy MHADA Flat?

Everybody wants to own a home, but the costs eventually become an obstacle. The government has started several programs to address this problem. Through the MHADA lottery program, the Maharashtra Government provides affordable housing to the less wealthy people in society. 

If you want to buy an MHADA flat, then you just need to follow the below steps:

• Visit

  https://www.mhada.gov.in/en

  .

• Scroll your mouse over the Lottery section and tap on “Online Lottery.”

• Go to your respective city lottery board.

• Create an account or sign in with an already existing one.

• Input information about yourself and your family, including name, date of birth, occupation, marital status, gender, residential address, and so on.

• Enter your professional information on the next page.

• Acknowledge that you and your family are moving into their first home.

• Finally, use NEFT or RTGS and pay the application fee.

An acknowledgment slip will be given to you once the procedure is finished. This is the process my driver performed to get his own house.
