If you are buying MHADA property in resale, you will have to be careful of a few things. The title transfer of a MHADA property can happen only after the loca-in period of 5 years is over with the original allottee. If someone else occupies the premises before that period then there is a chance of eviction and legal action against the occupants. Anyway to complete the process to buy MHADA property in resale you will have to do the following:
Ask for no dues certificate from the current owner and society
Get original and legal allotment letter given by the MHADA authorities at the time of allotment of the flat.
Paid slips of electricity and water bills.
Draft sale agreement in your name and pay the stamp duty and registration charges.
After registration, send the registered sale agreement copy to MHADA office along with a transfer fee.
Most importantly, get the power of attorney transferred in your name.
However, if you are planning to apply for Upcoming MHADA lottery 2021 in Konkan board then the registration starts from September 18, 2021. Apply by following the steps below:
Register and create a profile by entering details such as name, family income, PAN card number, date of birth, occupation, marital status, gender, residential address, own mobile number, etc
Submit these details and create the login
After logging in select the MHADA lottery option and enter personal information, registration details, bank details, income proof, scheme code, and then acknowledge that this is the first house for you and the family
After confirmation, pay the application fee using NEFT or RTGS.
