What is Grade of Concrete?

I recently assisted my brother with the construction of his house in Dehradun. I learnt so much about the quality checks, material type, construction style and much more. When I first went on site, I was confused because my brother kept talking about different types of concrete grades. So I asked him what is grade of concrete. He explained it to me in great detail.
