The minimal strength that concrete must have after 28 days of construction with sufficient quality control is known as the grade of concrete. Initialising M to the specified strength in MPa denotes the grade of concrete. For example, a concrete grade having a 20 MPa strength would be identified as M20, where M represents Mix.
