My father owns a warehouse, so I am somewhat aware of the technicalities of a commercial lease agreement. If you want to know, who pays for commercial lease agreement, I’d like to say that in essence, there is no fixed rule.

Who Pays for a Commercial Lease to be Drawn Up?

Usually, the rent agreement's expense is solely borne by the tenant. The rental agreement, including the expense of drafting it and stamp duty, is usually paid by the renter.  However, in many instances, the cost of creating and registering the rental agreement gets split between the landlord and the tenants.

This brings me to the end of my response on the rent payment arrangement. To guarantee a simple and hassle-free rental experience, it is wise to make clear who is responsible for paying what and to come to an agreement on it with all parties.

I hope this helps!
