The Pagdi system, like any other rental agreement system in the world, has its own process. The tenants themselves are part-owner of the house but not the land.

The tenants have to pay a nominal rent amount each month. For old pagdi tenants, the rental cycle remains the same i.e. monthly receipts and payments.
