It is mandatory to register your phone number so that the Income Tax Department can communicate directly with the assessee for tax filing issues. Therefore you must know how to change mobile number in property tax. Here are the steps you can follow to know how to change phone number in property tax If you are the same person wanting to change the mobile number you must:
  1. Firstly, visit the GST portal and get yourself registered to log in.
  2. Select the 'partners/ promoters' tab. Tap on the option "edit" under the "action" tab.
  3. You can update your phone number and click on "Save".
  4. You will get an OTP in the mobile number you have provided. Enter the OTP you have received to proceed.
  5. Click on the verification tab and enter the required information. Click on the declaration box and submit your form with DSC/E-signature/EVC.
  6. You will get a message to track your application status. After you get the message "changes approved", your mobile number will be updated successfully.
To make the new authorized signatory as the primary authorized signatory number for property tax they must:
  1. Visit the GST portal website and get registered to Log in.
  2. You have to go to the authorized signatory section and tap on the option " Add new".
  3. Enter the information for the new authorized signatory. Mention your Email ID and phone number and click on "Save".
  4. Click on the verification tab and enter the required information. Click on the declaration box and submit your form with DSC/E-signature/EVC
  5. After waiting for 15 minutes and should log in to the GST website again. Click on the Services box and select registration and then Amendment of Registration Non-core Fields.
  6. After going to the "authorized signatory" tab you should deselect the previously authorized signatory to the primary authorized signatory.
  7. Change the new authorized signatory to primary authorized signatory. You must confirm your mobile number and Email Address that you have provided are correct. You will get an OTP that you must put after receiving it.
  8. Give the required details to complete the verification process. Click on the declaration checkbox and submit the form with DSC/E-signature/EVC.
  9. You will get a message to track your application status. After you get the message "changes approved", your mobile number will be updated successfully.

  • Change your phone number.

  • Tick the box and click "Online payment" to pay your taxes.

As I own a property in Chennai, I’d say that Chennai's Greater Chennai Corporation is in charge of collecting property taxes (GCC).   3. Fill in the new number on the next screen and click the ‘save’ button.

  4. Fill in the OTP once you receive it on your phone.

  5. You will be required to click the verification button and register the asked information. Click the declaration box and then submit the form with either the DSC, e-signature or the EVC.

  6. You will be notified via a message to track your application status. You will receive the message ‘changes approved’ once the application has been processed successfully.
