My friend is living in a place , can I live with him in same place in the name of his rent agreement or am I required to add my name to agreement?

However let me tell you that it is better to discuss it with the landlord and the best thing will be to add your name in the rent agreement as well. If the landlord wishes, he can raise a complaint over such an issue so it is better not to take any risk and get yourself included in the rent agreement.
