There isn’t any certain law that mentions the amount to be charged in the name of maintenance. However, builders usually charge between Rs. 2 to Rs. 25 per square foot as maintenance charges or 0.75% p.a. of the construction cost of each flat Expenses on the building’s repairs & maintenance. Keep in mind that they cannot impose maintenance charges unless they have an Occupancy Certificate.

The parking fee is usually charged by the number of parking slots assigned to each resident.
