• You will have to visit the official website of TSSPDCL and on the homepage look for new connection option or you can click on the link below:

• Now enter your mobile number and email id to get otp

• Once registered you will have to furnish personal details, property details, and upload the required documents 

• Make the payment via online mode to get a new electricity meter connection and wait for the approval on your request

Documents required by TSSPDCL

• Ownership Documents (Registered Sale Deed/Gift Deed/Lease Deed)

• Memorandum of Understanding & Articles of Association/ Partnership Deed

• CEIG Approval (If Applicable)

• ID Proof (Aadhar/Driving License/PAN/Voter Card/Passport)

• Pass Book/Patta Document (In case of Agriculture customer- If Applicable)

• Certificate from MRO (in case of SC/ST consumers only) 

• Two passport size photographs of the applicant

The application form for TSNPDCL is available online, you will have to download and print out the application form. Further, you will have to visit the MEESEVA Center to apply for new connection services under category I, II, III, IV, VI and VII. 

Before the release of supply these are the documents you must get in place:

• Panchayat / Municipal approval; NOC from pollution control department, DM & HO and Inspector of Factories. NOC from civil supplies department for rice mills and license / permission from concerned department for Industrial connection.

• Electrical Inspector approval for Cinema Theatres and all HT services.

I want to know how much time it takes and what the next procedure will be. I request you to please tell me the overall next procedure till I get the electricity meter. I got my meter installed recently. So, I can help you out with the subsequent procedure. The following procedure after applying for the new electricity meter connection is as follows:

• The field inspection of your new home will be completed in three to seven working days after you submit an online application for a new electrical connection.

• Following that, the process to estimate preparation for load sanction and fee deposit will be finished in the next three to four working days.

• Within the next eight days following the deposit payment, the meter will be installed at your location. Finally, you will be able to get the electricity.
