I moved here from Whitefield because the rent was just getting out of hand. In Kithaganur Village, I’m paying half the price for a 2BHK with a balcony and lots of light. It’s quiet, mostly residential, and surrounded by greenery. Perfect for remote work.
I grew up in a Bangalore that was always chaotic and busy and exhausting. Kithaganur Village gives me a better feel because of open skies, birds in the morning, and local temples. It’s a lovely place for retired life. The problem comes in infrastructure. The nearest big hospital is 25–30 minutes away. Also, during rains, some of the inner roads get flooded.
It’s peaceful, with very little noise, and I’ve never felt unsafe walking around. The local shops are friendly. I’ve been here 3 years, and while it’s not flashy, it’s reliable. But internet options are limited to a couple of providers and streets are usually dark post 8 pm
You get a lot more house here for your buck. My 3BHK duplex here would’ve cost 3x in Indiranagar. It’s good if you prefer your own space, a garden, and don’t need to be in the city every day.
This area works well for families who want a slower pace. Errands need planning, but daily life feels less stressful once you adjust.
Investing here feels like a patient move. You won’t see quick appreciation, but the calm residential demand keeps risk low.
