What is the cost difference in making 105.31 sqft wall (with plastering) if red bricks are used vs AAC blocks are used?

The cost difference between red bricks wall and AAC blocks wall is quite high. AAC blocks costs nearly ⅓ of the cost of regular bricks. Here is a price list to give you an idea:

If we construct a 10ft * 10ft wall or = 100 sq ft, 

• Labour Cost

1. AAC block costs around Rs 700

2. Red Brick cost is Rs 2000

• Mortar Cost

1. AAC block mortar cost Rs 700

2. Red Brick mortar cost Rs 1700

• Structural Cost

1. AAC block saves steel up to 15% and concrete up to 7%

2. AAC blocks, being lightweight, reduce the load on the foundation and save on steel consumption. Hence, it reduces the structural cost but in red brick, no saving is possible.

• Cost Per Cum

AAC Block and Brick cost per cost around equal to Rs 4000

So AAC blocks will cost nearly ⅓ of what regular bricks will cost.
