The rental properties are very affordable here compared to Indiranagar. But I have seen the internal roads are not in the best shape. Narrow, potholed lanes make driving a challenge, especially during rains.
The locality has a calm, almost residential-village feel despite being close to city centers. Our neighbours are a mix of working-class and middle-income families . I feel it has a good community vibe. There are still a few encroachments and unauthorized buildings here and there. That can affect resale value and legal safety if you're not careful.
Pollution and noise levels are intense. Noise from trains can be a bother if your house is too close to the Baiyappanahalli-KR Puram track.
