Vajarahalli is a residential neighbourhood in the southern part of Bangalore. It is close to well-known areas, like Lingadheeranahalli, Jyotipuram and Paramount Gardens. Known for its quiet and green surroundings, Vajarahalli Bangalore also provides quick access to social infrastructure, like schools, hospitals, and shopping malls. Vajarahalli Bangalore pin code is 560109.
The neighborhood is safe and great for families. it has good greenery and roads. although traffic remains an all time problem
I moved to Vajarahalli a year back since my office in Kanakapura Road is just 15 minutes away. The metro line nearby is a big plus. It’s not crowded like JP Nagar, but you still get all the essentials nearby. Groceries, medicals, gyms, etc., are close. Bit dusty due to construction, but otherwise calm and decent.
Back then, Vajarahalli was almost like a village. Now it’s a fully grown residential place. We have schools, clinics, and small shops within walking distance. Still peaceful compared to other parts. It’s developed, but hasn’t lost its calm environment.
We chose Vajarahalli mainly for affordability and connectivity. The new metro access on the Green Line makes life easier. Plenty of flats are coming up, so finding a place wasn’t hard. Some areas lack proper footpaths. Good for small families and couples.
Vajarahalli caught my eye due to the metro extension and rising residential demand. Many professionals are shifting towards this side due to affordable housing. It’s an area where property value might double in a few years if infrastructure keeps up.
My flat in Vajarahalli gets rented out quickly. Young couples, IT folks, prefer this area for the metro and reasonable rent. Roads have improved, and power and water supply are mostly stable.
