Living on MG Road feels exciting with everything just a walk away like malls, metro, eateries but it does come with higher rent and the daily struggle of traffic and noise.

MG Road is a prime spot where properties rarely lose value rents stay strong and businesses grow. But buying in isn’t easy, since prices are high and competition is tough.

With premium rentals, excellent metro and bus connectivity, surrounded by shopping, dining, and nightlife. Downsides include high rents, traffic congestion, and noise.

Having property on MG Road is a big advantage because it’s always in demand and keeps its value, though looking after it and the extra costs can be a bit heavy

Metro station right on MG Road makes travel super easy for daily work. Loads of places to grab food after office hours. Traffic gets packed around Anil Kumble Circle by 6 PM, but if you stick to metro life here is sorted.

IMO the whole vibe here is great. Church Street is right next door for hanging out with friends, and bus stops are everywhere. Food options are a bit costly, but you get cheap street snacks near the metro station too.

Love coming to MG Road on weekends. Everything is right there, from big brand shops to small cafés. Footpaths near Mayo Hall are clean enough to walk around comfortably. Parking a car is real pain though, better take auto or metro.

Renting a place near MG Road is pricey, paying around 32k, but location saves time. Groceries and medical shops are nearby so daily needs are covered easily. Only problem is late night street noise from main road traffic.

Main road stays clean and well lit at night, safety is fine here. But traffic noise never stops from morning till 11 PM. Water supply is mostly fine, though auto drivers outside metro station charge extra for short distance.

Living around MG Road has good points like top hospitals and schools within 15 minutes drive. But pollution is high and footpaths are too crowded for evening walks... constantly watching out for bikes taking shortcuts on side lanes.

Footfall is always high near Brigade Road signal which helps business. Delivery vans get stuck in traffic for hours during peak time though. Rent for commercial space here is very high, so margins stay tight.

Footpaths are uneven in many inner lanes and streetlights don't work properly near Cauvery arts building. Crossing main road at peak hours is dangerous because cars and bikes don't stop for pedestrians... too much noise all day.

Property prices are sky high at 2cr plus for small spaces, but returns are not matching up RN. Parking shortage is huge headache for tenants and main road gets completely jammed every evening. Not worth buying here right now.

Water supply gets cut every summer, so tanker dependency is high. Garbage dumping near back alleys is another major headache. Plus weekend traffic jam near Trinity Circle makes driving out impossible... total chaos every Saturday.
