Arekere is a nice area in South Bangalore and is located on Bannerghatta Road. The Arekere PIN code is 560076, and it's close to many popular places. The name means "half lake" in the local language. This comes from a water tank in the area. Arekere has many smaller layouts. These include Arekere Mico Layout, Samrat Layout, and Pandurangnagar.

Love the variety of restaurants nearby! Arekere has slowly become a food hub. But wish there were more parks or open spaces to chill with friends or family.

Rent is pretty reasonable here compared to nearby areas. Supermarkets and clinics are everywhere. But water issues pop up occasionally, especially during summer.

Feels safe for women, even at night. I can walk back from the main road without worry. But street lighting is still missing in some parts.

There’s a calmness in Arekere I enjoy. No loud nightlife, which suits me. But for younger folks, it may feel a bit too quiet and slow.

Decent options for flats, especially for couples. Plus medical facilities are close. The downside is there’s still a lot of traffic noise near the main junction.

Arakere is growing quietly but steadily and it offers good rental returns. Some roads in the areas near the Cinepolis SJR Arekere Mall need better maintenance.

This locality has grown gradually, and it’s still not overly crowded. Finding tenants is easy because its near to Bannerghatta and JP Nagar.

Arakere is peaceful with lots of greenery and decent roads. Daily essentials are close by, and the area feels safe.

Though the area is great and all but water crisis during the summer months is very irritatiing. Luckily, this year there was no such issue.

The mornings are peaceful, and it’s close to my office. I am happy that I was able to find such as good house here.
