BDA is a government body responsible for planning and development of Bangalore. It looks over the development and overall planning of the area (BDA layouts). It is not responsible for providing khata. Khata is provided by BBMP - an administrative body responsible for upkeep and maintenance of civic and infrastructure of Bangalore.
You only need one khata either e-khata or the normal khata provided by BBMP (both are same and have the same significance).

If I need to buy a re-sale BDA plots do I need BDA khata and Panchayat e-khata as well? Or only 1khata is sufficient?
