Hi Friend,

Being an HDFC customer, I have utilised the HDFC bank NetBanking's Flexible Limits for Third Party Funds Transfer (TPT). Customers have the opportunity to choose their limit by selecting the "Modify TPT Limit" option for any amount between Rs 50,000 and Rs 10 lacs. I called their customer care number and enquired, about how to set transaction limit in HDFC credit card? To ease my problem they provided a detailed explanation for reducing/increasing the limit.

Calculate your EMI on a home loan with the help of the NoBroker EMI calculator. With NoBroker's house loan services, you may get a stress-free home loan disbursement.

How to set limit in HDFC credit card:

In the case of "Resident Customers with Active Debit Card" and "NR Customers with Indian Mobile Number":
  • Visitย

the HDFC website

and use your Customer ID and IPIN to access your NetBanking account (Password).

  • Select "Modify TPT Limit" from the drop-down menu under the Third Party Transfer tab, then click the INCREASE link and select the TPT limit you want.

  • Use your debit card information and the One Time Password (OTP) that was provided to your registered mobile phone to confirm the transaction.

In the interest of "NRI clients with International mobile number"
  • Visitย

the HDFC website,

and use your Customer ID and IPIN to access your NetBanking account (Password).

  • Select "Modify TPT Limit" from the drop-down menu under the Third Party Transfer tab, then click the INCREASE link and select the TPT limit you want.

  • On both your registered email address and mobile number, you will get an OTP. Enter both of the obtained OTPs to confirm the transactions.

Methods for raising TPT limitations at the branch:

In the event that you are unable to complete it online (especially for current account holders without a debit card), you must take the following actions:

  • Bring a legitimate photo ID when you visit the closest HDFC Bank location.

  • Complete the "TPT Limit Increase" form, then sign it.

  • Copy your photo ID, attest it, and turn it in at the branch.

  • Customers of NR who are unable to visit a branch may mail the form and a self-attested photo ID.

I would like to conclude here as I believe that the process mentioned above would help you with your query about, how to set transaction limit in HDFC credit card?
