How to Paint a Pot with Hammered Metal Spray Paint?
First, I washed the flower pot properly with water. I used a small brush to remove the dirt stuck on it. Then I kept it aside to dry completely. It’s important that the pot is fully dry before painting.
After the pot dried, I chose a clean place to do the painting. I kept all things ready, the hammered metal spray paint, old newspapers to cover the floor, and gloves to keep my hands clean. I did it in a corner near the window for fresh air.
This paint comes in a spray can. I shook it well for a minute to mix it properly. There is no need to mix with water like normal paint. It’s ready to use.
I kept the spray can a little far from the pot and sprayed the paint slowly all over. The paint came out nice and smooth.
After spraying, I left the pot to dry for a few hours.
Since I wanted to keep the metallic finish safe from water or sunlight, I sprayed a clear sealer over the paint. It’s optional, but can be done for extra protection.
Once everything was dried, I filled the pot with soil and added a money plant. It looked beautiful, just like a real metal pot.
