Summary
To check GHMC property tax dues online, visit the official GHMC website and open the property tax payment or "know your property tax" section. Enter your PTIN, which is the property tax identification number, or search using your house number, circle, and ward. Submit the details to view the owner name, assessed tax, arrears, penalties, and total amount due. You can then pay online through net banking, UPI, or card and download the receipt.

To do GHMC property tax dues check online, begin by going to the official GHMC website and opening the property tax payment or "know your property tax" section. Provide your PTIN, the property tax identification number, etc. After submitting, you will see the owner's name and the total tax dues. Payment can then be made online and the receipt can be downloaded afterward. Below, I have shared the detailed steps.

How Can You View Pending Dues on the GHMC Portal?

  1. Keep the PTIN Ready: Note the ten-digit PTIN from an old receipt or Khata document, as it gives the most accurate result.

  2. Find a Lost PTIN: Search by owner name and ward, or use the door number, if the number is not available.

  3. Open the Portal: Visit the official GHMC website and go to the property tax section under online payments.

  4. Enter the Search Details: Type the PTIN or the alternate details and submit the search to open the property record.

  5. Read the Record: Review owner details, address, built-up area, usage, assessed value, and half-year demand.

  6. Check Arrears: Look at pending arrears with interest, plus the last payment date and mode.

  7. Download Receipts: Save year-wise receipts, which lenders and sub-registrars often ask for.

  8. Pay Pending Dues: Pay through net banking, cards, or UPI, and the receipt is generated immediately.

  9. Note Due Dates: Pay the first half-year instalment by 31 July and the second by 15 October, with early-payment rebates often available if the full year is paid by 30 April.

GHMC covers the Hyderabad metro, including parts of Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri, roughly 650 square kilometres. All other municipal corporations, municipalities, and nagar panchayats across Telangana fall under CDMA, so a property in a town like Warangal or Karimnagar must be searched there, using owner name, district, and ULB. I hope this helps.
