How to Apply Mutation of Property in Gurgaon?

I did not find any portal to do the online mutation of property in Gurgaon, so I applied for it offline. Mutation of property is the legal process of changing the ownership of a property from one person to another. It involves obtaining a mutation order from the Sub-Registrar of Assurances, which is a document that records the change in ownership. This document is required for any sale or purchase of a property, and it is very important. I tried to find out the portal to apply for mutation of property online but couldn’t get one. So let me share how to apply mutation of property in Gurgaon offline.

Here are some of the steps to do the mutation of property offline-

1. Visit the office of the Sub-Registrar of Assurances in Gurgaon. 

2. Obtain the relevant application form for a mutation of property. 

3. Fill in the application form with all the necessary details such as property address, owner’s name, property type, etc.

4. Attach the necessary documents such as sale deed/gift deed, tax receipts, property tax receipt, etc. 

5. Submit the application form, along with the necessary documents, to the office of the Sub-Registrar

6. Pay the applicable fee for the mutation of

   the property. 

7. The Sub-Registrar of Assurances will verify the documents, and if all the documents are in order, he will issue the mutation order. 

8. Collect the mutation order from the Sub-Registrar on the given date

So if you are yet to do the

mutation of property in Gurgaon, do it as early as possible.
