How to Apply Chalk Paint Wax?
The painter said you don’t need to sand before waxing. First, wait until the chalk paint is fully dry.
Now, apply the wax on extensive areas using a cloth or brush.
After applying, wipe off the extra wax with a clean cloth.
You can add more wax if needed while the first layer is still wet.
If you put too much wax, wipe it off with a cloth.
To get a shiny finish, rub the waxed surface after it dries overnight.
If you want a matte look, leave it as it is. The wax takes about a week to fully harden and protect the paint.
