Affordable rentals with easy access to Electronic City. Peaceful area, though traffic can get busy during peak hours.

Visited a friend here. Impressed by greenery and local cafes. A quiet yet lively area in South Bangalore.

Invested in a 3 BHK apartment. Consistent rental demand and rising property values due to metro and road connectivity.

The locality shows strong growth potential. Proximity to IT hubs and ongoing infrastructure developments ensure good returns.

Safe, family-friendly neighborhood with schools and supermarkets nearby. Commute to work is convenient via Hosur Road.

Moving around here is quite easy because Namma Metro is close by. I just take a shared auto from Pragathi Nagar to Chikkabegur metro station every morning, hardly takes 10 minutes. The internal roads inside the layout are mostly okay for bikes.

The inner streets are calm enough for walks, but the main roads have no proper footpaths. Walking to the pharmacy near Basapura Circle is risky with all the bike traffic. Streetlights work fine, so evenings feel safe at least.

Getting out of Basapura main road during peak hours is a proper nightmare. The traffic at the junction near the highway just crawls for 20 minutes daily. It is a big headache for people who have to travel to Electronic City every morning.

Pretty decent area for staying. There are 2 small parks nearby where children can play safely in the evening, and the main markets are within walking distance. Buying daily groceries and milk is never an issue here.

Water supply is the main problem in this whole layout. We depend completely on private water tankers because the regular supply comes only once a week for 1 hour. Delivery trucks also struggle with the narrow, broken inner lanes.

Plenty of budget PG options and small eateries around Pragathi Nagar. Food is cheap and shops stay open till late night, so the streets don't feel lonely or unsafe. NGL the auto guys charge too much, but everything else is sorted.

The drainage system is very poor here even a small rain fills up the roads near the lower side of Basapura. Water gets clogged for hours and stinks up the area. Otherwise, basic shops and clinics are close by.

Rents are good here, around 18k for a 2BHK. It is a good choice for techies working nearby because the Hosur main road connectivity is very direct. Houses get occupied very quickly because of the location.

Garbage is just dumped on the roadsides everywhere in this area. BBMP trucks don't clear the open plots regularly, and the whole street smells bad when you walk past the vacant plots near the schools. Truly annoying.

Power cuts happen almost every afternoon for 2 hours, so power backup is a must if you stay here. Noise from the nearby highway traffic can be loud at night, but the neighborhood is peaceful and safe.
