The area feels very old and outdated. Buildings are old so you get many cheap flats in older parts and inner lanes. Commuting is no biggie because of the local trains and metro but walking is tough due to bad roads and potholes

Living here may not feel premium but it gives a friendly atmosphere. local markets and present and there are hospitals and other things within2-3 km. gardens and parks are also there. Good for families

It's a good area for those looking for reasonable rental prices in Mumbai. It's a bit far from major IT hubs so that may be a disappointing fact for many. It's near to the college I work in so that's my benefit. it doesn't have many cafes or good brewaries nearby
