Before constructing our one-floor house, I was quite confused and unsure about the first floor construction cost and other details. I consulted my cousin about this as he is a civil engineer. He told me that, on average, construction of a 1000 sq ft house can cost up to Rs. 12 lakhs, but there are quite a few factors on which the price can vary.

  : He told me that construction can differ greatly based on location. 

• Materials

  : According to him, the cost is influenced by the materials you select for the roof, flooring, frame, finishing, and foundation.

• Labour Cost

  : He also said that the experience and skill set of local labours and workers could impact the cost of labours.

• Other Variables

  : My cousin told me that other variables, such as soil conditions, construction accessibility, etc., can also affect the price.
