Those who want to acquire leadership positions in society should give careful thought to the managing committee. About a year ago, my uncle joined the managing committee of his society. He had to meet the following basic requirements in order to be eligible to join the managing committee:
Prior to the nomination for the electoral contest being scrutinised, all dues must be paid.
Must not have broken any laws or norms inside the community.
Be of legal age and capable of making moral decisions that benefit society.
Fulfill any further prerequisites for eligibility listed in the society's bylaws.
Should submit a written application in the proper format to become a member.
