It is very important to have all the documents related to your property before selling or renting your property. You should not indulge in any practice where you deceive the buyer of any document. So, to answer your question precisely, if one or any document is missing in property link documents, you cannot make a sale of that property. If you do, it would be illegal in terms of law.
If you have lost any document, you can easily apply for a duplicate copy of that document to the Sub-Registrar’s office or make an affidavit and get it notarized asking for 10-15 days of time to arrange for the lost document.
