Ews or Economically Weaker Section quota is a reservation facility allotted to the general caste people who are financially weak. No ST/SC/OBC person can avail it. This reservation helps a general-category student to get direct employment or higher education if there is a chance.
As for your concern let me tell you that the person applying for the EWS quota must abide by some rules like
If the candidate and his/her family own a residential flat, it must be below 100 sq ft
The residential plot owned by the applicant must be below 100 sq yards in a notified municipality sector
The residential plot owned by the applicant or his/her family must be below 200 sq yards in a non-notified municipality sector

Sir I want to know about 10% EWS quota . Sir I have one floor of 900 square metre . I have only first floor in Delhi . Ground and top floor is my uncle's . Can I get EWS quota? Because in property paper first floor area is written 101 square yards . But I have only first floor not whole house .... Can you please tell me how to get the EWS quota?
