If you are a student, then it would be better staying at the campus accommodation as the hostel fees are really low. However, if you still want to look for a 1 BHK flat then here are a few options:
(The rent for 1 BHK in the below locations is around 15K per month)
a. Near Chatturshringi Temple
If you find a 1 BHK flat near Chattushringi Mandir, then you can even walk to the university. However, you might already know the university campus is pretty big and you would probably need 30-40 minutes to reach your department depending on where it is located.
b. Shivaji Nagar
You can choose areas like Model Colony. You can use PMPML buses to commute by boarding the buses to Aundh, Baner, Chinchwad, Pashan and so on. SPPU’s bus stop falls on the majority of the bus routes.
c. Abhimanshree Society and Sakal Nagar, Aundh
Sakal Nagar and nearby areas in Aundh are quite posh and you can find property with excellent facilities. Another option is Abhimanshree Society which is quite expensive as well. However, the availability of public transport is less in these areas. It would be recommendable to get a two wheeler if you are planning to rent a place in these areas.
