It’s very simple to calculate the built-up area of any flat. For that, you need to add the carpet area, the percentage of common areas, and the area of the other shared spaces. The percentage added is known as the loading factor, and you said it to be 20%.
So, the built-up area would be:
Built-up area= Carpet area + (Loading factor x Carpet area)
Now, adding the values:
Built-up area = 375 + (0.20 x 375)
Built-up area = 375 + 75
Built-up area = 450 sq ft.
So, the built-up area of your flat would be 450 sq. ft. at a loading factor of 20%.
