What are SRA rooms?
Housing projects, commonly referred to as SRA apartments, are provided to slum dwellers by the Slum Rehabilitation Authority. There are two different kinds of SRA flats. Those that a slum resident receives after giving up his current residence. And those that developers sell on the marketplace.
When can you sell the SRA rooms?
According to FPJ, the Maharashtra Cabinet subcommittee has approved an idea to shorten the time required to sell SRA Mumbai flats from 10 years to 3 years. It is in accordance with revised regulations for SRA in Mumbai 2021. After three years of hut clearance, the SRA Mumbai apartments can be sold.

Is BMC given rooms are same as SRA rooms or are they different? When is this BMC rooms are on sale? Is there any Lock-in period?
