Hi there,

Since you have lost your original registry paper you need to visit the police station and report the misplacement of the registered copy. You also need to put an advertisement in the local newspaper and English newspaper stating that you have lost your registered paper. Then you can visit the sub registrar’s office along with the xerox copy and the authorities will provide you with a certified copy of the registered paper. I hope you find this informative.
