A Patta land is a legal document issued by the Government of India. It is also known as ‘Record of Rights’ or ROR. This legal document is required while transferring the property and the revenue authorities are responsible for updating and issuing them.  You can download the patta by visiting the official

Official Website

of Tamil Nadu. Then, click on the ‘Verify Patta’ option. You will need to enter your reference number and submit it. You can download and print the document then.
