I have given notice to my landlord on 25-Feb that I will be moving out in 1 month, saying that I will let him know the exact date once I get the another house. Then I started searching and finalized the another apartment on 10-Mar confirming to vacate flat on 1-Apr. However, he is saying that I have to give 1 month notice and it will considered only from the day when I am giving exact date i.e. 10-Mar. As per the agreement, it is 1 month notice to be given. I would like to know the law and rule of giving notice, whether my notice will considered from 25-Feb or 10-Mar?
