In redevelopment projects, GST implications can be a bit complex. Generally, GST is applicable on the sale of under-construction properties. If you have purchased an additional unit or area in your redevelopment property, GST should be applicable only on the additional purchase, not on the entire value of the house.
According to the GST rules, the tax is levied on the consideration received for the additional area or unit purchased. The builder should charge GST only on the additional buy, provided the original unit was already completed and possession was given before the implementation of GST.

It's advisable to consult with a tax professional or a legal expert to ensure that you are following the correct procedures and to clarify any doubts you may have.
