I will suggest you update your ITR filing and provide all the details. You can do that online by visiting the Income Tax portal
- then login
- click on the e-File menu
- click on Income Tax Return Page
- select assessment year, ITRForm number
- Select filing type as Original/revised return
- select submission mode as prepare and submit
- under General Information select Return Filing Section as Revised under section 139(5)
- select the return filing type as revised
- enter the acknowledgement number
- provide the date and acknowledgement number and get it done.

I filed my ITR. I forgot to indicate the sale of the property but indicated the house rent from the flat I bought with the sale of the plot within a month. Can I leave it or file a revised ITR?
