As per the Tamil Nadu Government’s e-Services, a land deed cannot be registered without either of the following documents: Patta, FMB, Chitta, or TSLR Extract
.
If you are not signed under Chitta, you can apply for a Chitta extract online through the Tamil Nadu Government’s e-Services portal. The website is available in both Tamil and English, and you can download the extract for free. Once you have the Chitta extract, you can proceed with the registration process.
